Ian MoelwynWARDBorn in Pwllheli and, in later years, resident of Peterston-super-Ely. Ian passed away suddenly on Monday, 17th November 2025, at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, aged 83. A beloved husband to Shirley and a devoted father to Michael and the late Sian, Ian will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

A service of celebration will be held at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel on Thursday 11th December at 11.30am.

No flowers please, but donations towards Tŷ Hafan Children's Hospice in memory of Ian will be gratefully received.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Ian, please accept my sincere condolences from all of us here at Tŷ Hafan. Ian was a very special person and we can see from your Tribute page they were dearly loved by all of their family and friends. They will be missed. 

At Tŷ Hafan, the diagnosis of a life-shortening illness turns everyday life upside down for families, leaving them facing a future that is so different to the one they imagined. Your generosity means they can receive the care and support they need. Thanks to you, they can create a lifetime of memories in the time they have together, just like your memories of Ian. I hope that gives you some comfort during this sad time.
